Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy
Steady Presence in Times of Transition
There are seasons in life when strength alone is not enough.
Seasons of grief.
Burnout.
Loss.
Transition.
Quiet questions that won’t go away.
In those moments, what we often need most is not advice — but presence.
As a licensed chaplain with a background in Philosophy and Religious Studies, I offer grounded, compassionate spiritual care for those navigating life’s deeper terrain.
What Is Chaplaincy?
Chaplaincy is not therapy.
It is not preaching.
It is not religious recruitment.
Chaplaincy is:
- Skilled listening
- Meaning-centered conversation
- Support during grief and uncertainty
- Ethical and spiritual reflection
- Calm presence during difficult seasons
It is care for the whole person.
Areas of Support
I work with individuals navigating:
- Grief and loss
- Midlife reevaluation
- Career burnout
- Illness or caregiving stress
- Identity and purpose questions
- Spiritual doubt or deconstruction
- Desire for deeper groundedness
You do not need to be religious.
You do not need to identify as Buddhist.
You only need a willingness to reflect honestly.
My Approach
My formation includes:
- Academic training in Philosophy and Religious Studies
- Buddhist-informed spiritual perspective
- Professional chaplaincy training
- Experience holding space for real human struggle
My approach is:
- Calm and steady
- Direct but compassionate
- Grounded in wisdom traditions
- Respectful of your beliefs and worldview
I will not give you clichés.
I will not rush your process.
I will not impose doctrine.
We work with what is real.
Spiritual Wellness as Integration
Spiritual care is not separate from physical health.
Unprocessed grief affects the body.
Chronic stress affects metabolism.
Lack of meaning affects motivation.
When appropriate, chaplaincy can be integrated with fitness and nutrition work — creating a truly whole-person approach.
Strength without inner grounding is fragile.
Inner reflection without embodiment is incomplete.
What Sessions Look Like
- Confidential 1:1 conversations
- In-person or virtual options
- Reflective inquiry and dialogue
- Grounding practices (when appropriate)
- Gentle accountability toward alignment
This is a space for honesty — without performance.
